Top figure is a photograph taken by Wendy Blake-Coleman in 1976 from the Headquarters marsh looking north at the Headquarters upland. Bottom figure is a photograph taken by Ron Rozsa in 2015. The prominent Panicum fen in 1976 has been replaced by Iva frutescens and the foreground high marsh grasses have been replaced by a mix of stunted Spartina alterniflora panne and salt panne.
